I left the organization because I felt that it was no longer possible for me to work responsibly and in good conscience toward greater human rights and democratization in China if I remained there.<br /></div> <div> </div> <div>The LRF Board of Directors removed me from the Board on May 12th. The reason is simple–it is because I told the truth. A person who speaks the truth and deals in honesty must go, and so I will keep my silence, for the moment. From this moment forward, I will bear no responsibility for any of the Foundation\’s actions.</div> <div> </div> <div>I want to thank all the friends and colleagues who supported me in my past work.</div></div>
