line-height: 25px; font-family: "MS Song", "MS Hei"; padding: 0px 40px 12px 0px;">佳士声援团的成员中，有很大一部分是左翼青年。他们大多年龄在二三十岁，岳昕和沈梦雨就是两名"90后"。 另一方面，持续了一个多月的行动，得到了国内左派人士的支持。根据《南华早报》早前报道，8月 6日来自左翼网站"乌有之乡"的40多名共产党员和退休干部到深圳坪山燕子岭集会声援。</p><p style="font-size: 17px; line-height: 25px; font-family: "MS Song", "MS Hei"; padding: 0px 40px 12px 0px;"><span style="font-family: "MS Song", "MS Hei"; font-size: 17px;"><br />国际特赦组织中国研究员潘嘉伟接受德国之声访问时表示，佳士工人要求组建工会以保护自己的权益是完全正当的行为，"当局不应试图打压抗议者，反而应解决剥削劳工权益的问题，并应尊重工人结社自由的权利。"潘嘉伟表示，国内虽有官方的工会，而全国总公会在各地都有分会 ，然而，基本上总工会所选出的工人代表都不是由工人自由地选举出来, 因此代表性很受质疑。而一般公司及工厂的工人，都没有结社的自由。 佳士事件发展至今，全总及区工会应要站出来交待, 为甚么工人的权益不被保护，反而成为打压工人的帮凶。</span>岳昕告诉德国之声，不少参与者是马克思主义者，他们希望维护工人阶级的利益。岳昕认为， 这是充分发挥工友主体性的依法维权，从几位工友自己写的文章看，他们本身也都是有左翼思想，信仰马克思主义毛泽东思想的。</p><p style="font-size: 17px; line-height: 25px; font-family: "MS Song", "MS Hei"; padding: 0px 40px 12px 0px;">潘嘉伟认为，今次佳士事件最独特之处，是因为得到高校的学生及一些毛左人士的支持。事实上，过去中国内地也出现不少工人维权事件, 也有成立工会的要求, 却没有像佳士一样吸引各方的关注。 是次佳士维权事件掀起了全国广泛的关注和声援。北京大学、中国人民大学等十余所高校的学生发出声援书。而香港大学、中文大学及百余名全球学者也联署，呼吁释放被捕人士，支持工人自主筹建工会。</p></div></div>
